
Wine By the Vines: The Rhône Valley
From Lyon to Marseille, the Rhône Valley encapsulates much of France’s renowned gastronomy and has the wines to match. This key wine-producing region is known for spicy syrahs, aromatic viogniers, grenache-dominated Côtes-du-Rhône wines, and Châteneuf-du-Pape, among others. And the cuisine ranges from slow-cooked meats, gratin, tarts, truffles and cheeses in the North to lighter meats and aromatic herbs like lavender, fennel, and anise in the South.
This 5-course, wine-paired dinner offers a chance to learn about flavors of this renowned region and purchase your favorite bottles to take home. The wine tasting will be guided by our in-house sommelier and the evening’s featured wine distributor and food is the creation of Executive Chef Gabe Cerrato.
The $75 ticket price includes 5 courses with paired wines. Gluten-free and vegetarian diets can be accommodated with advance notice.
Our Wine By the Vines dinner series explores food and wine culture around the globe and is hosted bimonthly at Gemelli, on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays. Each month, we offer the same experience twice due to popular demand. Reservations are required. Payment is due at the event. Please note the 72 hour cancellation fee when booking.
